My baby!
How’s my little angel? My love, you’re growing up so fast. You’ve got 2 teeth, you sit up on your own and you feed yourself puffs and bottles. And now you’re all about moving around and trying to crawl. You’re able to get that butt up but you can’t move yourself forward. Just a lot of backward momentum. But oh man can we see you getting smarter every day. You do little things that make me and mom crack up. You’re just the cutest little baby I swear. You had a little diaper rash on your bum recently so we’ve been applying a special cream, but otherwise you’re growing so good. 17.4 lbs as of today. Not sure how tall you are but we’ll find out at your next doctor’s appointment. You’ve had a tough time sleeping through the night recently which has been a real treat for Mom and I lol. You love watching The Wiggles in the morning after you sit in your high chair and eat some foods.
And to follow up on my last letter, we officially got the apartment at Aspire at Lenox Park and we’re all moved in! You have your own room now. It’s so fun to hang out with you in there and play with your toys. We got you this little piano that we want to paint and now we’re looking for a rug for you in there. And we’re furnishing the rest of the place. Still waiting on our couch but things are really coming together. I wonder what you’ll remember about this place when you’re older. Your first home in Georgia! Now we’re starting to do some exploring and checking different places out. Yesterday morning we got breakfast at Flying Biscuit and we brought some donuts from Duck Donuts over to Grandma and Grandpa’s last weekend.
As far as the world is going, Coronavirus is still popping off and numbers are going up in Georgia and Florida. Trump is still a fucking moron. Sports are back in a really weird way. No fans in the stands and basketball is all happening in Orlando in what’s been dubbed “The Bubble”. Taylor Swift came out with a new album called Folklore, a real departure from her previous work. Maybe you’ll dig it but it’s a little too pedestrian for me.
My mom and dad miss you big time. We video chat with them about once a week so they can say hi and see how big you are. I just love you so much and mom does too. Here’s a good batch of photos from the past month. Now that I’m REALLY back in my work schedule and on my computer more I’ll be hollering at your little butt.
