Alright girlfriend -

It’s been a little over two weeks since I checked in on ya and let you know what’s going on here in 2020. The quarantine rages on, but new cases of the virus have slowed significantly. The weight of being home all the time comes and goes. Sometimes it’s easier and sometimes it’s harder. I can’t say we’d be out and about doing anything all that exciting, just knowing that we can’t + working from home is wearing on me. Mom and I decided we’re officially going to move at the end of June, so just over a month left here in our first apartment together and your first home! Mom had an awesome idea to hire a photographer to take photos of the apartment and the view from our living room and bedroom so we’d always have them. I like sentimental stuff like that.

Since this past weekend was Memorial Day and Governor Cuomo said we could gather in groups of 10 or less we went for a walk in the park with Grandma and Grandpa and then went back to their house for a little barbecue. It was a nice slice of normal, even if they drive me crazy lol. You were laughing BIG TIME for Grandma, we think it was because of her hair but either way it was really cute.

The weekend before that we took you to the doctor for a well visit. Clocked in at 13 lbs 11 oz and I think it was 25 inches, I need to confirm with Mom. And you got two shots that barely even bothered you.

As for your progress, Mom and I notice something new almost every day. You’ve started reaching for things and you’re determined to hold your own bottle. And craziest of all, Mom spotted your first tooth! It’s barely showing but we feel it when you bite down. You’ve also officially grown out of size 1 diapers, which was a sad day for me. I don’t want my little girl to grow up so fast! You’re really getting so smart. Mom and I love to see that big smile. You’re in a weird pattern right now where you cry for 20-30 minutes before you go to sleep, it’s a lot of fun lol.

Most days we go for walks over by Wagner college and on the weekends we’ve been taking a few drives around. We went to Jersey last weekend to a park-ish area near a body of water. It was pretty cool. I can’t wait to have more space for you to learn how to crawl and run around. I know Grandma and Aunt Lisa are super excited to see you more often when we move.

We’ve been doing a ton of different albums and after mom and I watched this movie called Yesterday, we’ve been playing a lot of The Beatles. You’re growing up on the good stuff. Not much else to report on so I’m going to drop in a bunch of photos and tell you to have a nice day and give you mom a kiss.

Love you big time,

Dad
