Bean bean banana bean!

How’s my girl today? It’s the middle of July and I’m writing to you from my office. It’s 9:30 and you and mommy are slumpatina’s in our bed. Been a hot minute since I checked in so I figured I’d holler at ya.

Catching up on the last note, we had an awesome time in Rosemary as usual and we ended up going to Hilton Head but you stayed at home with Grandma and Aunt April. Honestly, it was better off because Hilton Head is wiggity wiggity wiggity whack. Place has nothing on Rosemary.

Summer has been chugging along and you’ve started going to The Little Gym, a place where you can do flips and run around. You’ve made a friend named Mila and you guys look a lot alike. This weekend we met up with her and her mom and her brother at the park for a little playground fun, which was pretty cool.

It’s finally starting to quiet down around here but the last few weeks were pretty nuts. First Evan, Katie, Brett and Teagan came down to visit, and we spent the weekend hanging with them which was really fun. At the same time, Darren and his girlfriend stayed the night on Saturday, while mom was up in NY to celebrate Aunt Lisa getting engaged.

After that, Grandma Ellen came down for a visit and stayed at our house for a little over a week. It was good to have her here and ya’ll got along great. You were showing her all your toys and coloring with her. We celebrated 4th of July with her over at Grandma Lori and Grandpa Paul’s house.

Can’t believe we’re at the midway point of summer! You just keep growing. We’re finally putting a stake in the ground on getting you potty trained, so you’ve been wearing undies instead of pull-ups and you did a nice poop on the potty!

At night when I’m done working we build legos together and color together and do the Madeline puzzle and then we lay on the floor in the living room and watch magnet ball videos until it’s time to go to bed.

Mom is a rockstar as always, taking such good care of you everyday and keeping you engaged with all different fun stuff. You’ve got your own garden in the backyard now that Mommy built with you.

Not much else going on at the moment. Mom and I have been having more serious talks about having another baby and we just recently got the yard done in the back so you’ve got some fresh grass to play on.
