Hi Love -
This week is flying, I can’t believe it’s already Thursday! It’s also Grandma’s 60th birthday, so we’re going to head over to Grandma and Grandpa’s house to say hi. You’ll meet Bear today, the sweetest dog in the whole wide world. He’s gonna love ya!
Yesterday we went over to CVS and got your vitamin D drops and then we took a walk in Silver Lake Park. You did so good, it’s like the cold doesn’t even bother you.
Later today Lisa and Cris are going to come by to say hi and have dinner. We gotta air this place out because right now it’s got your little stonk flowing in here. This place is way too small for us lol.
The past few days mom and I have been talking a lot about where we’re going to live once our 3 month extension is up. So many emotions. I think we both know that Georgia is the smart move if my job will sign off but the daunting task of communicating it to my parents is giving us fits. SO hard. Logically it should make sense, but once emotions are included we both know things are going to get messy. And in my mom’s view, we’re “taking” you to go be closer to mom’s family. BUT that’s not the case at all, it’s a byproduct. Atlanta is one of the few places where my company has an office and we could conceivably live off my salary + mom could stay home with you. I know I’ve told you all this before but it’s weighing on me. I love you and I want the best for you and my parents are going to have to understand that IF that’s the decision we come to.
So when you were 2 days old a lady came into our hospital room and took some professional photos of you. Mega cutie. Here are my favs.
Now here are a few pics I took during our walk and around the house.
Alright Beanie - that’s a nickname I’m trying out/have been using the past few days. I like it!
Love you big time,
Dad
