Hello tiny baby -

It’s Monday morning and I’m on a conference call. Back to the grind. Mom is feeling real sad today and that always makes me upset. I hate to see her like that. We’re both just so overwhelmed with emotions waiting for you. I know I personally feel like I messed up when I have to tell people I work with or people I don’t talk to regularly that you haven’t arrived yet. It’s a bummer but I think it’s normal for parents with an overdue baby. I try to keep the mood as light as I can because I know it’s not anyone’s fault. Due dates aren’t an exact science but damnit I wish they were. Yesterday after Buy Buy Baby and Korner Pizza we ended up staying home and sorting through a few of the gift cards we’ve received to support you. Then we watched football and laid around for a while while we did laundry. Pretty lowkey day. After dinner mom and I each colored in an image from her coloring book, actually a really fun experience.

Today we’ve got a doctor’s appointment so hoping to get some information. Looks like Mom will be induced tomorrow and we’ll have you on Wednesday. I’m not a big fan of the number 15 but honestly, as long as you show up healthy and happy, I don’t really care when you’re born lol.

Time to get back to work.
