My baby!!
Sup yo?! Tuesday afternoon and I’m hustling, hopping from meeting to meeting. There was talk of promotions today while I was in a meeting. Not necessarily my own promotion but a few people on the team. Fingers crossed big time that I’m part of that group. Would keep me on track – at least the track that I’ve made for myself to get promoted every year – and would help financially. I know it’s unrealistic to expect a promotion every year, but damn do I bust my ass with that goal in mind. Next position for me is Vice President. Would be pretty cool if your dad was a Vice President, right?
In other news, mom stopped by the doctor last night and was really happy with the experience. There are a few doctors that work in the practice, so this was a new guy for her/us to meet. As long as she’s comfortable, I’m happy. Mom asked about your size and everything and according to the doctor you look healthy and he’s content with what he sees. Mom saw you yawn! Apparently, she’s only put on like 6 pounds so far. Almost 6 months pregnant and she’s still a rocket! Classic mom. Wish I had a picture for you but they’re on the fridge at home, so I’ll snag one when I get a chance. Can’t lie, you look a bit like a baby skeleton in the photo because it’s like looking at face bones.
I’m feeling a lot better today vs yesterday. I ended up going to the gym after dinner and I think sweating it out helped. Pushed some good weights and felt some progress. I was joking with mom last night that it feels like my arms can’t get any bigger. I know it sounds ridiculous but that’s how it felt. I’m REALLY excited because tonight is the first game of my new basketball season. Got the gang back together – Santa, Gleb, Roy, Terz and Mike. Still waiting on John and Mullins to heal up and hopeful we get Myles back one day soon. Myles really unlocks a new level for us, and I want to run at least one more pick and roll with him. Either way, pumped to play.
Can’t think of anything else for today little one.
Love you big time,
Dad
