Tonight mom and I are going over to Dan and Kate’s to figure out where the hell we’re gonna go. We decided to do a little weekend away from 8/23-8/25 but since it’s already mid-August finding a place is kinda tough. I’m excited though. I always want to do a lakehouse situation so I hope we’re able to figure it out. In true fashion, I made a weekend logo already cause your old man is a big loser. Check it out. Paw print for Silo. Thought it’d be cool to maybe throw these on some hoodies or tshirts or something.

In other news, this morning Allison texted everybody and let us know that her and Ralph are expecting baby #2, due in February of next year. So you’re going to have a little friend to hang with. Between that baby and Pat’s baby – you’re already in good shape. Not to mention the fact that mom and I plan on having more than just one kid, so you should have other kids to play and grow up with.  

These days you’re the size of a mango. Which I couldn’t really conceptualize since I don’t eat em and didn’t grow up seeing a lot of. However, on the bus this morning, mom pointed out a bunch of mangos in the window of a store we pass and holy shit, you’re bigger than I thought! You’re growing really fast. Our next appointment to have a look at you is scheduled for the morning of 8/23, so we’ll prob check your ass out and then head to wherever we book tonight.

At work I’m in the midst of figuring out logistics for a video shoot. There are a couple options up in the air, including me flying to Detroit, me flying to Charlotte or me not going anywhere. Unfortunately, the shoot costs about $6,000 which is way too much so I’m thinking we won’t be able to swing it. Who knows? I think it’s going to end up pissing my client off, so I’ll need to manage appropriately. Flip side, I have a really awesome client who I talk to all the time named Ashley. She’s younger than me and gets social a bit more than some other clients so she understands the value of doing the shoot in Charlotte.

I also checked out a few car leasing options today out of curiosity. Can’t believe the Toyota Highlander only comes out to $214/month with $4,000 down – that’s fucking awesome. I love that bad boy and Toyota’s are hella reliable. Grandpa doesn’t like anything that isn’t American-made but we gotta do what’s best for the bottom line.
