Mello donkey butt –

It is I, your big handsome father coming to you from December 4th of the year two thousand nineteen. I’m wrapping up my day at work with one more thing to do, but I wanted to pop in and say hi. I was talking to you last night and mom got a video. I think I said some funny stuff. Today was pretty good, had a bunch of meetings and feel like I made some progress. The days are flying by and we keep getting closer and closer to meeting you. You’re almost done cooking! I can’t believe we have the drama of the car purchase behind us; so happy to have something to keep you safe. I think this weekend I want to swing by grandma and grandpas to pick up your car seat and drop off some of the stuff from the shower.

I can’t stop listening to the Kacey Musgraves Christmas album – it’s got some real jams on it. I’m especially fond of the originals.

Mom and I have been watching This Is Us, catching up because we fell off for a little bit. It’s a classic show. So many stories happening at the same time that all tie into each other. Feels good and makes me cry every few episodes. Yeah, your old man cries at TV shows and movies.

I think I’ll buy a bottle of wine the day you’re born and save it until you turn 21. I can’t wait for all of your firsts. Your first favorite toy, your first favorite blanket. You’re going to be so small and cute and it just blows my mind that you’ll be a perfect little combination of mom and I. Speaking of mom and I, here are a few photos I snapped yesterday and an image of a really pretty building I grabbed on the way back from getting coffee today.
