Hi.

Have a look at your life, one post at a time.

Hello my little tiny angel -

How’s your day going? Here in the year 2020, things are just about as weird as I’ve experienced them. The three of us took a ride to the deli earlier to get cold cuts and a few other things and there were kids riding their bikes on the empty streets with masks on, very strange and striking sight. I can’t really articulate it because it probably (hopefully) feels so impossible, but no one is doing anything. Like literally everyone is just sitting at home, watching tv, cooking and waiting. Some people have made puzzles, some are playing video games, some spend all their free time raising their kids (us lol). But that’s it.

After lunch and after you had a really nice, long nap we went and saw my parents. But when I say we saw them, I mean that literally. We parked outside their house, got out of the car and talked to them and their neighbor Norma from 10 feet away. My dad had a mask on. I couldn’t hug my mom to say hello lol. Thank God we can still see them and communicate with technology but jeez, surreal feeling.

At night we watched Deep Impact, a movie about an asteroid on a collision course with Earth. Mom asked if I’d rather live with what we have going on today or an asteroid threat. I told her, give me the asteroid. Either it’s going to hit or it is'n’t but with coronavirus we have no idea how long it’s going to last and what things will be like afterwards.

Think that’s about everything today, just wanted to offer up a little perspective.

Love you big time,

Dad
